Mission :
D-Trois-Pierres offers to young adults a good environment and work place, based on the reality of every day life.
Admissible persons :
D-Trois-Pierres welcomes young adults between 16 and 35 years of age who have difficulties finding or keeping a job and want to integrate society socially and professionally.
Objectives:
Offers a work experience
Offers a self discovery and development approach
Resources used :
For the work experience: Take charge of the service contracts and the self-financing activities of the four sites (the Cap-Saint-Jacques Nature Park Ecological Farm, the St-Paul of Joliette Educational Farm, the Accueil du Petit Lac (Nominingue) and Boscoville 2000).
To promote self discovery and development approach: a support and a personal accompaniment and also reference for alternative and complementary resources.
A)The objective of the process :
The process helps develop abilities, solidify identity and person?s dignity not socially recognized.
B)The process :
The process is divided into five steps witch are followed at individual paces.
First step : Acclimatization
Bring the employee in training to measure his willingness to take part in the work environment.
Second step: Integration
The employee in training recognizes himself as being part of the environment.
Third step: Self expression
Develop self confidence and trust in others.
Fourth step: Participation
Facilitate the acquisition of tools and develop a sense of community.
Fifth step: appropriation of the skills learned
Prepares the employees to the job market and to life in society.
A methodical follow up allows to measure the difficulties and the progress of each employee in training. Through the use of a questionnaire and follow up of discussions between the employee in training and the supervisor, evaluations consist of many elements:
Punctuality and presence at work
Quality and quantity of work completed
Cleanliness of clothing
Relations with authority
Relations with co-workers
Motivation
Initiative
Responsibility
etc.

Links to the external resources (hosting houses, support groups, etc.)
Transport facilities
Help with school integration
Academic recognition (Center of Educational and Pedagogic Resources)
Help with finding employment
The social and professional integration programme gives young adults the opportunity to keep contact with the realities of the job market.
It is a paid job of 6 to 18 months where there is technical and professional supervision, the possibility of personal and social development, access to external help and resources, as well as undertaking a dynamic job research.
