The cafeteria also serves as a pivot for preparing and canning the vegetables produced at the Cap-Saint-Jacques and St-Paul de Joliette campuses. The vegetables, and few fruits, are prepared into soups, jams and jarred goods. The jars of pickled beets, garlic flower pesto and strawberry rhubarb jams are sold at the General Store at the Cap-Saint-Jacques campus.
